Enter User Info Screen
Users of an arcade style game are brought to a screen where they can enter their phone number and a 3-character user ID. The following copy is displayed underneath:
“SMS messages are used. Data rates may apply. To receive an experience reward, you are required to input your mobile phone number.”

Terms & Conditions Confirmation Screen
On the following screen, users are presented with terms and conditions which they must review and agree to by checking a box before continuing.

SMS Opt-In Confirmation Screen
On the next screen, users are asked to confirm their information and opt-in to receiving SMS messages with the following copy displayed underneath:
“I agree to the terms and conditions as set out by the user agreement. By providing your number, you agree to receive recurring SMS from Lids for rewards, updates, and promotions. Up to 4 msgs/month. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. [View full terms on previous page.]”
Only after pressing “Confirm” are users phone numbers stored and an SMS message sent. If a user presses back or allows the screen to timeout, their number will not be stored.
